Magnetic drive centrifugal pumps made in thermoplastic materials suitable to be used in a potentially explosive atmosphere classified ZONE 2 II3G

Anti-corrosion industrial pumps suitable for pumping acids and bases fluids and highly corrosive liquids

  • Materials available: PP / PVDF.
  • Flow up to 130 m3/h; Head up to 48 mlc.
  • Temperature: PP: max 70° C – PVDF: max 90°C.
  • Max viscosity: 200 cSt.
  • Pressure rating: NP 6 at 20°C.
  • Lip seal for pumps size 95-10; internal PTFE bellows mechanical seal for all the other sizes.
  • Suitable for high corrosive liquids containing solids in suspension (non-abrasive solids max. 5% – dimension max. 3 mm).

The HCO series centrifugal pumps with mechanical seal are manufactured in PP or PVDF and are suitable for highly corrosive liquids containing suspended solids.

The sealing system depends on the pump size:

  • HCO 95-10: Elastomeric lip seal
  • HCO 110 – 170: Internal PTFE bellows mechanical seal (SiC/Ceramic standard, Graphite/Ceramic on request)
  • HCO 180 – 200: Available with single mechanical seal (SiC/Ceramic) or double mechanical seal (back-to-back), requiring an external flushing system

* The head and flow of the pump refer to the performance with water at room temperature. Should liquids at high temperatures and with high viscosity and density be pumped the performance has to be calculated accordingly. The electric motor should be selected on the basis of the viscosity and the specific weight given by the customer.
