The HTM-SP series pumps combine the standard advantages of our magnetic drive centrifugal pumps with an integrated self-priming capability. At sea level, these pumps are able to self-prime up to 6 meters.

HTM-SP pumps are manufactured in Polypropylene (PP) or PVDF, thermoplastic materials that provide excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals and corrosive fluids.

Thanks to the advanced sealless magnetic drive system, the HTM-SP model ensures maximum operational safety and high efficiency, significantly reducing the risk of leakage and environmental emissions, as well as lowering overall maintenance costs.

For proper operation, the pumped liquid must be clean and free of suspended solids, as particles may affect pump performance.

Technical Data

* The head and flow of the pump refer to the performance with water at room temperature. Should liquids at high temperatures and with high viscosity and density be pumped the performance has to be calculated accordingly. The electric motor should be selected on the basis of the viscosity and the specific weight given by the customer.

Strong Points Of HTM SP Pumps

Manufacturing Materials

The HTM-SP series pumps are manufactured in thermoplastic materials (PP or PVDF), offering excellent compatibility with acids, alkaline solutions, chemicals and hazardous fluids. These materials ensure high corrosion resistance and long-term durability in aggressive environments.

Injection Moulding

All thermoplastic components of the HTM-SP pumps are produced by GemmePlast, a company within the GemmeCotti Group specialized in plastic injection moulding.

This internal production structure allows strict quality control of raw materials and full supervision of the entire moulding process, ensuring consistent product quality.

Magnets

HTM-SP pumps are equipped with NdFeB magnets, capable of generating high magnetic torque.

Self-Priming Ability

The HTM-SP series features integrated self-priming capability, allowing the pump to prime up to 6 meters at sea level, with liquids having specific gravity 1 at room temperature.
This makes the pump particularly suitable for applications with suction lift conditions.

Leak Free Magnetic Design

The magnetic drive configuration provides several important advantages:

Reliability

Unlike many centrifugal pumps available on the market, the pump casing (pump head) of GemmeCotti HTM-SP pumps is secured to the bracket using 8 fixing bolts.
This reinforced fastening system guarantees solid mechanical stability and prevents casing deformation under pressure.

Static Shaft

The static shaft used in HTM-SP magnetic drive centrifugal pumps is manufactured in Alumina 99.7% (Al₂O₃), a highly resistant ceramic material.
This ensures maximum structural stability and excellent resistance to aggressive and corrosive chemicals.

Magnetic Drive Design

Magnetic drive pumps are engineered with a dedicated sealless configuration, making them ideal for handling acids, chemicals, corrosive and hazardous liquids. Their suitability for aggressive media is ensured by the high chemical resistance of the construction materials and by the complete elimination of leakage and fugitive emissions.

The design is mechanically simple and highly reliable, requiring minimal maintenance and allowing significant savings throughout the pump’s lifetime in terms of repairs, spare parts and reduced machine downtime.

This pump technology is not suitable for liquids containing solids. The pumped fluid must always be clean and free of suspended particles to ensure proper and safe operation.
